Content

As a supporter of Josh Way/Fun With Shorts on Patreon, are you only interested in seeing "riffing" videos, or would you welcome other types of content, like other kinds of videos, podcasts, comics, etc.?

PS - Don't read too much into this poll, I've just always wanted to take the pulse of my patrons regarding the types of content you're willing/interested to see from me.

PPS - I used to blog about religion and politics, but that's not what I'm thinking of here. I'm talking about comedy material relating to pop culture.

We want Josh to diversify his portfolio!

So far these results have me hoping that Patreon will finally allow multiple campaigns in 2018!

1) Love your riffs! 2) I don't mind other content from you, I'd love to see what else you can do! 3) I don't want the riffs to stop. 4) More importantly than #3, you do you. I'll stick around regardless whatever content you make. I don't want to make you feel like I'm some kind of riff slavemaster holding my pledge as leverage over you. I want you to follow whatever creative muse you have =)

arcanetrivia

I'm here primarily for the riffs. I wouldn't mind occasional other things like comics or blog posts, but I would never listen to a podcast.

Josh Way

Thanks to everyone who voted. Only a small percentage of you chimed in, but the results are enough to show me that half of you would not be interested in new or alternative types of content. That doesn't mean I won't try anything new, but it does mean that I'll be sure to keep this Patreon focused on the riffing and use other methods (alternate Patreon, Drip, etc.) to fund any new ventures.

Josh, I belong to multiple groups who are able to discuss religion and politics without anyone getting upset at all. I'd love to read your thought on both. Please share whatever links will get me there.

Tara Calishain

I was bummed when ICWXP got away from riffing movies, and I'd be doubleplus bummed if you got away from riffing shorts.

Stacy and Josh Lemonds

Sorry. With everything going on I didn't see a poll. I definitely don't want the riffing to stop, but I wouldn't be averse to seeing your other talents or groominhearing a podcast.

Josh Way

Thanks for the votes, everybody. Two things as we move toward 2018: 1. I have no intention of moving away from riffing or of reducing my riffing output in any way. Weekly shorts will continue until morale improves! 2. Those of you interested in seeing other stuff from me will hopefully get the chance to do so in the new year, but I won't be tacking it on to this Patreon. At least not any time soon. Thanks again, and stay tuned for a new short TONIGHT!
