Melody wanted to convert this request into a full drawing, and also this is a story of the swap, made by Melody as well

"I can't believe I’m finally doing this," Ava thought as walked thought the streets. She was finally about to go on a date with Dennis. Ava though he was cute and had an eye for him for a while now, unfortunately for her he wasn't a big fun of the whole 'I’m so much better than all of you' act. Even since she dropped it people acted more comfortable around her. To her surprise he asked her out. Ironically enough she ended up becoming more popular by stopping trying to be popular.

The reason behind her attitude change was less than ideal however. Ava was tricked into drinking a body swapping potion and now she would swap bodies for the next 24 hours with whoever she locked eye contact with. It had been months when this happened and the effect persisted. It seems like this curse was to stay. Ava's life had been uprooted in the most bizarre way possible. Rumours quickly spread around town and she wasn't sure how to feel about it.

After some experimetation Ava discovered that covering her eyes with dark sunglasses was enough to prevent a swap from happening. She was using one of her mother's old sunglasses for now. Trying to figure out how a good fit them was challenging but surprisingly fun. Maybe she should look more into that.

It was beginning to get dark, and with these sunglasses it was becoming harder to see. Ava couldn't risk swapping now and ruin another date. But as her sight was starting to get worse she had no choice but to take quick peeks when she was absolutely sure nobody else was around. It was an absolute nerve wrecking experience.

By some miracle she managed to reach Dennis's house without incident. (if you don't consider walking headfirst into a lamppost an 'incident') This however did little to calm her nerves. She ringed the bell and a few moments later an older man opened the door. It was Robert, Dennis's father.

"Hello there. You must be...Ava was it?"

"Uh y-yeah That me," Ava responded nervously

Robert turned around and yelled, "Yo kid! Your girl is here! You better get down here and greet here!"

"Already?! Just give me a few minutes!," Dennis yelled from upstairs.

"That kid," Robert looks back at Ava and saw she was nervous. "Are you alright? My son won't bite. heh Should you really be wearing sunglasses though? It’s getting dark outside"

"No no it’s fine. I have tis...thing with my eyes and I need these"

"Well suit yourself. Come in."

"Sure mister."

"I did it," Ava thought, "Just stay calm. All you have to do is to watch a movie an-" Ava was so deep in her own thoughts that she forgot about the doorstep and tipped. Robert quickly caught her before she hit the floor. The force was enough to knock Ava's sunglasses of her head however.

"Wow careful girl. Don’t want you to hurt yourself"

Ava looked up to Robert, "I’m so sorry sir I-" She only has a split second to realize she was no longer wearing her sunglasses, but it was already too late to fix her mistake. Ava felt that all familiar jolt now.

Robert suddenly found himself looking up at an older man that looked like him, and after a moment realized that was him! "The hell?! Who are yo-what's with my voice?" There were strands of red hair of the edge of his vision. He grabbed them and saw his thinner and smaller hands. He followed his arms and looked down, seeing he now had a much slimmer frame and was now wearing Ava's clothes. He looked back at himself, and after a few seconds realized that he had turned into Ava!

Ava began whimpering, "Nononono! Not now! NOT NOW! WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN?"

"What the hell happened? Why am I you? How is this possible?" Robert then suddenly remembered all those rumours about some girl who body swapping powers. "It’s you! You are that body swapping girl! I thought it was all just some big joke."

"I-I-I'm so sorry sir! I didn't mean it! I always mess this up!"

Dennis yelled from upstarts, "I’m coming ok just give me a moment!"

Robert looked at Ava, "So what do you we do now? Are we stuck like this?"

"No sir. It will be fine. In about 24 hours we will return to normal," Ava let out a sigh of defeat of yet another failed date, "Just go to my house. My family will understand. I just tell your son that his date panicked and ran away"

Robert wanted to say something when Dennis finally showed up. His suit was clearly put on in a hurry, but he still put a lot of effort on it. He looked at his date looking confused and his father at the verge of tears. "Is everything ok?"

Robert look at Ava. She was clearly upset about her date falling apart. He then looked at his son. It took a lot of courage to finally ask a girl out and it would break his heart if 'she' said no now. After briefly thinking about it he regrettably knew there was only one thing he could do.

"Oh, it’s nothing you father just dumped into something. Can you wait outside please I need to ask him something?"

"Sure...." Dennis was confused as all hell.

Ava looked confused at Robert, "Sir what are you doing?"

Robert sighed, "I don’t like this idea at all. But I can’t break my son's heart like this."

Ava's eyes widened, "YOU ARE GOING ON MY DATE?"

"Just stop screaming alright? I know this sound wrong, but you guys were just going to watch a movie, right? I'll just try to not get to close to him and everything should be fine?” Robert didn’t sound confident at all. But his mind al already made up.

Robert turned around and walked out the front door and greeted his 'date'. As they walked away Dennis began fliting with him, "You look really pretty Ava. You know-," Dennis put his arm around ‘Ava’, "I got seats all the way in the back if you don’t mind"

"Oh yeah that sounds great," Robert knew in that moment he had made the wrong decision, but there was no going back now. This was going to be a loooooooooooong night.

Ava meanwhile stood at the window watching her body walking away with what should have been her date. She felt guilty about putting this poor man thought this, but there was nothing she could do about this anymore. "This could not have gone any worse," she thought.

To her dismay it did get worse as she felt somebody hugging her from behind. It was Robert's wife. "Well honey, looks like our boy is faintly gone. Looks like we have the house all for ourselves now."

Ava began to panic again, "O-o-oh yeah s-s-sweetheart that's gr-r-reat," As the hug deepened Ava could only scream internally, "I WAS TO DIE!"
