In the news of the start of the month, I talked about making a theme for all the months from now on and not interspersed as it used to be, I really enjoy theme request, and I have a lot of them to make.

So, I want to make this poll to see if these changes will be implemented.Remember this will be not the end of free topic in such case.Vote and give your opinion if you feel like it, even you can share themes you wanna see in the future nwn

I'm kinda torn, on one hand I like to have themes more often because they allow thought to go into the character I choose, on the other hand some themes may be something I can't come up with a good idea for....

Depends on the themes. If they are open enough things should be fine. A test month could be a good experiment.

I think the themed months are fun since we have to come up with ideas under restrictions, but I also like the freedom to pick from whatever media we want for a free month. Maybe there could be occasional themes that are closer to settings or topics than to franchises (e.g. beach swap, mages/magicians, swapping across past/future)? That way we could still come up with ideas under restrictions while pulling from franchises we know about.

I think the themes are cool but they can be exclusionary to people who dont participate in them. Like if you do themes they probably have to be wider in scope or very popular, ie the Halloween theme or Pokemon Theme

And by “occasional themes that are closer to topics”, I don’t mean I’m asking for themed months to be rare overall. I mean I’d be up for themed months to be the regular thing, as long as there’s a more open-ended topic theme every once in a while. I realize I may not have worded that clearly lol

Yeah, I was thinking in themes more like, only mom's or magical girls for example, make them as general as possible and not focused on a specific series from now on

I understand that, I was also thinking in making a poll for every month where you can select if you want x theme or a free thing, but I don't want to have like a thousand of polls per month hahahaha

I feel like themes are fine if they are more open than just x franchise. Maybe a genre as a whole like horror swaps or jrpg swaps. Or more unique themes like tike travel themed swaps and isekai themed swaps that are like a character or 2 getting isekaied into new bodies. Stuff like that so there is more creativity
