Comic Production News Update (Patreon)

UPDATE: "Crashing Into You" is now complete and available to all patrons of the Defender tier. In celebration, the cover image is being shared with the entire community. Thanks for supporting us during the 20th anniversary of Ranmabooks!

Hey gang!

We're pleased to report that we have finished all story pages for the current Ranmabooks comic project, Crashing Into You!

There will be a total of 6 story pages, which means this project has effectively doubled in size! The team was bursting with ambitious ideas that we think longtime readers are going to love.

Yet with a longer project, there should be a presentation that matches the scope. So much like Shop Till You Pop, a cover image for this book is on the way. This wasn't planned back when the team saw this as a one page Omake (wow this really blew up!), so we're pushing the final release back slightly to this weekend so that we can properly polish what remains.

As our 20th anniversary celebration, we're proud of the effort and excited to share Crashing Into You in its complete form with the community.

Defender ($25 USD) patrons will get access to the book for an exclusive window as thanks for helping us fund the project. It's also an incentive for readers who can afford it to help the RHB with a short-term funding boost that keeps the lights on around here.

Supporters who have active memberships at the main Ranmabooks website will also be able to read the new comic at launch. Some of you may qualify for the website pass, but need your access refreshed. Message us here at the Patreon and we'll get that sorted for you within a day.

Looking towards June, Warriors will get access to this comic at that time. Finally, Disciples will be able to read it much farther down the line.

Why the staggered release? Comics are the biggest investment that the team makes which consume all our resources and passion.

As always, our goal is to ensure funding for the next project with a path for the art to be accessible to our whole community, especially those who are feeling the current Global economic crunch.

We're profoundly grateful to those generous supporters who helped us get Crashing Into You across the finish line and continue to make future projects a closer reality.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! We hope you're enjoying the 20th anniversary of Ranmabooks. Even more is on the way! 🥳
