October 2026 RHB Newsletter

We hope all who read this are having a fantastic October so far! And if not, then we have some art on the way that might turn things around! 🙌

Halloween season is upon us and the RHB is celebrating with the release of SIX frightfully fun pinups. There could be another added depending on time, but we're locking in those six as sure treats. The RHB's 20th Anniversary Spooktakular is shaping up to be one of our sweetest and most loaded Halloween's ever! 🎃

Commission Status Update

REMINDER: Christmas commission submissions close November 1st. Pinup submissions only. Comic Lords get priority.

Patreon support tiers shall be opened up at this Patreon if necessary. Specifically, an extra Comic Lord slot could open. This almost NEVER happens so reach out if interested. When it's gone, it's gone. We have had years go by without a single open slot. These are THAT rare.

For all those interested in the commission service, DON'T WAIT. Hard Training is going to dominate production at the end of the year and there will be no extra slots and exceptions beyond November 1st. Please ensure that the RHB team has the time to review your idea and make that holiday art something special. 🧡

In comic news, the 2026 Edition of Summer Moon will continue for the first half of October before pausing to allow the team to focus on all the Halloween candy planned for the back-half of the month. Expect Summer Moon to resume its normal production pace early November, unless the next project discussed below demands we shift all our efforts there. In that event, Summer Moon would return in December.

The RHB Visual Novel project "Hard Training" shall receive a major production push in November so that we can finish polishing it. We expect the period of November 1st through December 15th to be about the game first, second, and last to ensure that Hard Training crosses the finish line this year.

Lastly, as a special treat we are sharing a preview of the next comic page featuring Ranma-chan and Kuno! You'll be able to see the rest on October 5th.

Thanks to all patrons for their ongoing support! It's because of YOU that we got to a 20th anniversary at all. We never take it for granted and look forward to making this the best Halloween season here yet! 🧡

PROJECTS UPCOMING OR ON HOLD

Virtual Novel - "Hard Training". Most art has been completed. Additional backgrounds, coding, testing and polish are underway. Our goal remains to release the new chapter as our next major project.

Ranmabooks Comic Art - Ranma Generations: "Dirty Pair Continuation" - is currently on hold. This project is likely to resume once the Hard Training game has been released.

Comic Art Project - Ranma-chan: "Rowdy Rematch". It's not canceled, and there's still enthusiasm about the project, but we don't have time to do everything and something must wait. So it's this and that's where we are at.

Queen of the Ring (Starring Akane, Shampoo & Ranma-chan): Behind the scenes, art planning is underway. Storyboards are being made in the brief lulls of production that inconsistently turn up. It is expected that Queen of the Ring will be the primary project for the RHB in Quarter 1 of 2027. Pardon the pun, but it's shaping up to be a true knockout!
