You can never fully escape the spectre of Tracy.

You can never fully escape the spectre of Tracy. Don't say her name three times or she might appear!

During the original run, people kept wondering if Bex was related to Tracy somehow. I didn't really see it, but as I thought about it, the connection made some sense. Now that the reboot has put Bex in Long Point, will that lead to an opportunity for a confrontation? We'll find out together.

I was always fairly coy about where Long Point is located. After years of guesses I finally came out and said North Carolina, although it's actually based on an area in South Carolina where I used to live. In the reboot I'm tempted to be even more coy and call the state East Carolina, much like how Springfield in The Simpsons can never be nailed down to an actual state. I'm giving that a test run in my brain at the moment, but I expect you'll see my decision very soon.

In the meantime, Bex saying "out in Carolina" here works well for all cases.
