Like many other impressionable children, I was inundated with all sorts of bizarre War On Drugs propaganda growing up. We had the D.A.R.E. nonsense of course, but there were also graphic photos of babies with giant deformed heads labeled "MARIJUANA BIRTH DEFECTS" and we were made to watch films that purported to show the effects of cocaine use by showing a cadaver brain with a giant black splotch in the middle. Shit was out of pocket.

I imagined a similar upbringing for Aya, though hopefully by the time she was in school there would've been less overt brainwashing. Anyway, she's pretty fucking clueless about this stuff, so enjoy seeing her get very uncomfortable very quickly.
