Woah this is a nice surprise, I actually wasn’t able to finish TYBW but now I’ll just watch along with you!

The quincy was speaking german, Wandenreich translates into "Walled Empire". Was so surprised by this, very welcome surprise. I did really enjoy all the TYBW episodes out now, although I did read the manga long time ago. The animation has leveled up as well.

I love the background choice since Ichigo means strawberry in japanese. Very cute!

A hollow turning into an Arrancar is as simple as them removing their masks. But, a hollow who’s eating many other hollows to become a minos *and* removed their mask is whole other deal. Thinking the person we see in the very beginning before our newbie soul reapers come on the scene was Ebern releasing bait to lure in hollows. He wanted to draw out Ichigo so he could follow him and take him by surprise. Bro was greatly underestimating our substitute soul reaper. Also thinking Ebern wanted very badly to be accepted so he wouldn’t be killed and abandoned his identity as an arrancar. But you can’t capitulate yourself to a madman and expect to be safe.
