There’s one thing that they did not say in the anime, but they say in the books in one of the other carriages there was three Noble females that were gonna be a piece offering to Ainz but when the Emperor got there and he seen the two maids, Yuri Alpha and lupusregina beta he seen how beautiful they were he decided against it after seeing the two, goddamn i’m such a nerd for overlord😂

When Mare and Aura make it to the Empire the emperor actually invites into the Palace and when he was talking to both of them, he was thinking of how he could bribe them for working for him and to be traded Ainz and he thought Aura was a boy and Mare was a girl
