Hejimal is just fat dragon... The scroll is one of the world items Nazarik has, If I am not mistaken.

Beyond the interest Ainz has in collecting rare things, there's a bit of an emotional connection to anything that is origninally from the game as it gives him hope he might find someone to connect with from his old world. Plus learning how these things from the game act differently in this world, like Shalteer's skill causing her to frenzy or Enri using the horn to call in a full army, he's trying to piece together what is and isn't the same in this world.

Man, he has one heck of a collection now. Dragons, dwarfs and Quagoa in just a few days?! His luck is unmatched! Haha

after this event, Pe Riyuro and Jircniv actually become best friends since they bonded over the fact that they were both being tormented by Ainz. This also contributes to Jircniv being happier, as he says that he is the first true friend he has ever had due to his upbringing. also since we've met most of them up to this point, the author of overlord made a ranking of all the leaders in overlord up to this point. it goes 1. Renner - Beyond comprehension 2. Jircniv - A monster 3. Draudillion(queen of dragon kingdom we never meet in the anime) - The most hard earned rulership experience 4. Zanac - Excellent 5. Pe Riyuro - Experienced with a good foundation, would be higher with more knowledge of the world 6. Buser(minor character in the movie) would lead a warlike nation 7. Ramposa III - No great failure or success 8. Calca(meet in movie) Can't make tough policies 9. Olasird'arc - Puts himself first 10. Barbro -Only has the knowledge to be a king 11. Shasuryu - Limited worldview 12. Suzuki satoru(Ainz) - A commoner

It was rushed in the anime, but Pe Riyuro is actually a smart and capable leader. He was both willing and did try to surrender to Shalltear without a fight. Shalltear misunderstood the way he phrased his words and told him to prepare to be slaughtered without letting him be able to clarify his meaning. Seeing the massacre and having to kill his own people to meet the numbers made him actually weep in despair. Pe Riyuro is as tragic a leader as Jircniv was in their introduction to the might of Nazarick.

The anime is a great adaptation, but I personally dislike how it changed Aura's subjugation of Hejinmal. She didn't use her breath, but revealed pure "murderous intent" at him. Enough of which made him think he actually died until his heart started beating again a moment later. This made him think, that if his new Mistress was capable of that, how strong was the one she called "Master." No doubt he was beyond imagination, an absolute power, an "Overlord." - paraphrased from the novel

It isn't very important and what it did in the anime can sort of be guessed, but Aura's world item (the scroll) was used to prevent the Quagoa from retreating. What it actually does is it can replace the real environment with one of the many different ones painted in it with a variety of effects. Though it carries the risk that if the randomly generated escape route is used, the scroll changes owners to the person that escaped.

Sorry for so many comments, but I'd also like to share one touching scene from Ainz and Shalltear. A- "...Don’t cry, Shalltear. I told you the same thing back then, didn’t I? You can’t waste your beautiful face on tears.” S- “Was(h) I us(h)eful to you?” A- “Yes. You did very well. You were everything I expected of one of my Guardians.” He comforted her with the same phrase when she was resurrected.
