Since you're interested about Diablo and the other primordial demons, I'm providing some additional information about them that were not explained in the anime (without spoilers): Diablo was actually an archdemon before Rimuru named him. Basically, for demons, they evolve in this manner: Lesser Demon -> Greater Demon -> Archdemon. Normally, they stop evolving after becoming an archdemon because there's a limit to how much magicules or energy they can handle. The same rule applies even to the 7 primordial demons. The only way they can evolve even further is via special circumstances. One example is naming - Diablo evolved into a Daemon Lord (or Demon Peer in the official light novel translations) after Rimuru named him. Remember, the process cost Rimuru half of his magicule count, which enabled Diablo to further increase his magicule capacity. Another example is awakening into a True Demon Lord, which only Guy has been able to do so far. It is a step above becoming a Demon Peer. Overall, with the exception of Guy and Diablo (as far as we know), the primordial demons are archdemons evolution-wise. But a demon's strength isn't only based on magicule capacity - willpower, ambition, and experience also play a major role. That's why, aside from Lesser and Greater Demons, there can be thousands, if not millions, of archdemons in the underworld (where demons live). However, the primordials are the strongest and are considered monarchs of their respective colors, especially because of the amount of experience they have as they've been around since the beginning of the universe.

As answer to your question of Blanc you're right about her race and to be precise her role is also a Primordial Demon. Another information is also answering, why the two Master Tools wasn't afraid of Diablo; to make it simple they just don't have the knowledge of, how demons refer to eachother, especially not the unspoken rule of their species, which is Demons lower than a Primordial Demon, doesn't refer to the Primordials by they real Names, since that isn't seen as having respect for the Strongest individuals in the Demon Species.

I enjoy the overall world building of slime, but story is alway so frustrating without any satisfying resolution because Rimuru is such a goody two shoes. I'd prefer to make those who tried to kill me suffer rather than befriend them.
