Wow, what an episode so much info and lore 😅 When Claire lost control over her magic and overloaded it seem that Aurora possessed her to help her gain control again, I find it Interesting that Aurora appeared to Claire as a School Nurse in a modern looking school while she was unconscious, makes me wonder if that was somehow based on Auroras memories of some kind? the world they are in used to be quite modern and advanced, we see evidence of that in both flashbacks and ruins around the world, like the sanctuary the Diablos Cult used to experiment on the kids and Aurora in, it looked very advanced.

To clarify, Aurora only possessed Claire. Claire is not her original body or anything like that. They mentioned this arc that vampires and possessed both came from the demon. Claire was already possessed as are allll the girls of SG. However Claire was bit by the queen and then gained vampire DNA too. Since both halves were now inside Claire &Claire's body could take the strain, the demon/Aurora could now manifest inside Claire.

Cid believes that claire is in her edgy teenager phase. The common trope in anime where a character talks about dark or special powers in a part of their body (often a hand or an eye). I think its also sometimes called 8th grade syndrome or sth. In this case Claire doesnt just pretend though but Cid thinks she does and is just going through that phase

It is called Chuunibyou (中二病) - 2nd year of middle school disease - Kid plays make believe to have special powers to make themselves more interesting and/or deal with some issue. The stereotype is pretending to have been cursed/possessed by some power. One of the tropes is wearing eye patch or bandage a hand like seal that holds that curse. I think a good series that introduced this to me is anime "Chuunibyou demo koi ga shitai". Cid sisters behavior copies that, but she does not know and Cid has understanding for her because he went through the thing, but he evolved it into reality, which is what makes the series fun.

ohhhh I see!! that's why Cid seemed like he understood ! I thought he was just going with it. but yea true he has been doing that since his past life and then got reincarnated and got everything he wanted 😂 Thank you for the detailed explanation that is new information to me and I didn't understand it while watching 😅
