They're not one family like the Fantastic 4 or even really friends. They're coworkers - and in the comics, they have a history of... escalated disagreements. One thing you can count on is that if there's a great threat, they'll come together and use their best abilities to stop it.

I believe there was a mid credits scene you missed. They started doing both a mid credits, and post credits scene with this movie and future movies.

Also the farmer who found the hulk in barn was the actual farmer of the land the film makers were using so for fun they let him be in the movie

Cap gave the order to close the portal before Tony came back because the nuke's explosion was about to also come back out of it. He knew the enemy were disabled, but couldn't risk the nuke coming out of the portal and frying a couple blocks of buildings or whatever the damage might have been. But, as luck would have it, Tony made it through just in time! Son of a gun, as he said.

Thor got to earth because of Odin. But he needed the cube to get back, along with loki. Who you might have guessed, will continue to be important later on.

Interesting fact, the final scene of all of them sitting in the shop. That was filmed a while after they finished filming. so Cpt.America was hiding his chin from that scene. thats why he is sitting like that covering half of his face because he was busy with another Role where he had a beard and was not allowed to shave it off. and then they asked him to come back for that one scene.
