Ah nice to see this, didn't think it would win this early. But glad to see it did. The main character was not really granted any power, he already was very powerful but he didn't have access to it in our world since the conditions of the world are apparently that harsh. What he got was a blessing.

Yeah. The blessing he got from the god is the one that allows him to create spaces (kai). And the blessing he got from the goddess was the ability to understand all languages automatically except for the hyuman language, and the inability to speak the hyuman language. The giant mana reserves and powerful spells are all his own though.

Makoto is already very powerful because his parents were very powerful that's how they got to meet the Goddess in the first place. Earth's God gave him the barrier power, and the Goddess gave him the ability to speak every language but hyuman. Magic is casted using its own language, and because he can understand all languages but hyuman, it is very easy for him to use magic. And yes, hyumans are not the same a humans, but I won't say more since it is discussed on season 2.

I thought all the powers came from the god. and wow for real? hyumans is not the same as humans? 😲 I thought they just wanted to write it as "hyumans" because it sounds that way when they pronounce it lol. 😂

So kinda like Killua and Gon. They are naturally gifted thanks to their DNA from their parents. That's why he is Physically stronger than expect. So, he like the ugly duckling that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
