Helloooo (/≧▽≦)/ 💖I just finished watching this movie, and it was such an interesting experience! I’ve never seen anything with robots like this before, so I had a lot of fun q(≧▽≦q) The story was definitely unique, and I hope you’ll enjoy the reaction too (～￣▽￣)～

This movie was my childhood, I remember my brother taking me to see this movie at every opportunity he had when it was still in theaters

Michael

Yay! Transformers won! I hope you like it! Dont watch past movie 3 tho. I gotta emphasize this strongly. Edit: Also, isn't Peter Cullen's(the voice of Optimus Prime) voice so COOL?!?!?!

Xeno250

I heard that the production team constantly got into delays because of the CGI behind the Transformers alone! Which is understandable, since there are so many parts inside a vehicle you have to consider...

In transformers Prime basicaly means Hero. Optimus Prime is the last hero, these movies make him quite violent and simple but he is supposed to be the last true hero of their species

Xeno250

Fun fact: the voice for Optimus Prime is Peter Cullen, who voiced the character back in the '80s animated TV show! And he's been the iconic voice for Optimus for quite a while. The voice he created for Optimus was inspired by his brother Larry, who was a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps - when talking to his brother about the role, his brother told him to use a voice that's "strong enough to be gentle", not boastful and powerful as is expected of a leader.

I had a lot of fun watching it! 🥰thank you for the info, so is it bad after 3? 😅 haha Prime does have a cool voice 😆

Michael

Yeah, after 3 they get really bad. Not to say they're amazing before 3, but theyre at least fun and especially 3 is good. But after that.... Michael Bay(the director and producer) didnt want to keep going but the company behind him did. So the passion isn't there anymore.

SprinkleVerse

oh wow the last hero! I didn't know that, but yea he did want to sacrifice himself to save everyone 🥹

SprinkleVerse

he does have a nice voice I totally see the "strong enough to be gentle" 😆

The only other live-action Transformers movie that's really worth it is Bumblebee. The others range from "okay movie with some cool moments" to "overly long and kinda dumb" and sometimes both. Bumblebee is fantastic and some consider it the best of the live-action movies. It has good character writing while still having cool action scenes. Though, it is important to know that "Bumblebee" is kinda its own story that doesn't really have continuity to the other films.

SprinkleVerse

ohh bumblebee gets his own movie!! 😲 thank you for the info 💖

This one is the best in my opinion, but they don't really ever get bad. They stay ok to good for the rest. But.... From the 2nd movie onwards I have a real problem with the plot/story that is very spoiler heavy. If you watch it I'll comment then. I like the 2nd movie 2nd best of the series.

SprinkleVerse

ohh I see! I enjoyed the first movie very much 🥰

A little fun fact, the stereo Transformer is named Frenzy. In the original cartoon Frenzy transformed into a cassette belonging to a Decepticon named Soundwave who transformed into a boom box. Frenzy was one of Soundwave's many cassettes and we actually see a different cassette in each of the first three live-action movies. I think it was neat how they kept his music related alternate mode in live-action.
