Shiki's new technique is from Makoto's rings (Remember when they contracted? Makoto had to give Shiki 13 fully charged Draupnir (the magic draining rings) so that he wouldn't accidentally 'consume' Shiki). What Shiki did was he basically programmed each ring with a different spell, and just mixes and matches to suit the situation. He got this idea from Tomoe.

ohhh!!! I totally forgot about those rings. omg so that's the reason he gave them to Shiki to not consume him 😂 I remember that it was difficult to make the contract with Shiki since he is much weaker. poor shiki 🥹😆 Thank you for the explanation 🥰
