Sometimes we do, but most problems men and boys need to solve themselves. Might be hard for you to imagine as a female, but the world isn't kind to men. Others are quick to abandon us if it appears that we are not capable of taking care of ourselves. That's sadly just the nature between men and women (and children). Women and children are valuable and need to be protected. Men are disposable and need to protect. The reason I said boys also need to solve most problems themselves is because if they don't learn that while growing up, they're going to have a lot of issues as an adult. And I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. Most men like being relied on and they take pride in solving their own issues themselves. Men and women 'generally' (but not always) just have different ways of dealing with problems.
