Otto best boy Also this episode is the turning point I really liked that scene with Emilia and Subaru Its this scene that won me over that I started to really root for Emilia and Subaru as a couple moving forward Also you see their reflection in each others eyes as well it was a great touch (emilia gains the reflection at the end)

I feel so bad for Otto. I'm glad we finally learn about his past and even stuff that happened off screen back in season 1. It was kinda cool to see how much Otto and Ram both actually trust and what they really think about Subaru. And we never really knew this nor thought this all because Subaru was being selfish and trying to shoulder everything himself. We must keep in mind that all the time Subaru was there talking to Emilia, drawing the stuff on the walls and everything else, he was constantly being rejected, because he didn't have the qualifications anymore. He was constantly having to endure the pain. To love someone is to accept the good and the bad. What he's been doing and saying to Emilia is only what he likes about her. He finally accepts everything about the real Emilia in front of him, not some imaginary angel he made up in his mind. "Yeah, of course, parts of you aren't perfect. You're not an angel or a goddess. You're an ordinary girl." This is where things get going so it's time to get into the good stuff! I don't think Emilia is the best girl yet, but as ZombieGuy33 said, this episode was the episode for me where I also started to like Emilia a lot more than before and they do really fit together as a couple.

it was unexpected seeing them kiss in such a situation 😆 but that definitely as beautiful 💖

I didn't think much of Otto until they came into this sanctuary and started to be more involved with Subaru, he is really a good friend 🥹💖

It's kind of a different world view, but Garfiel is just a hater. He going to oppose what Subaru wants regardless what it is. I've known people like him. As for the Emilia situation, I don't know why, but this speech felt way off. He doesn't sound like he loves her. More that he's either devoted to her, or worships her. I can see why people start rooting for her, but I can't think of a single non-superficial reason for Subaru to have initially fallen in love with her. It bothered me really badly through season 1 and I was so glad when she called him out on it when he declared himself a knight. Even she had no idea why he'd liked her. Prior to this episode I thought it might actually have even been a trick by the witch of envy. After this, it's muddier than that. The kiss felt wrong too, cause she was so completely distraught with the entire situation she did what she normally does and shuts down. The most important and redeeming part is he acknowledges he might not be who she chooses. But this is also a good first step. If it's built upon I can even get fully behind it.

I see so that's Garfiel's deal, I just couldn't figure him out, because at the very start it seemed like he wanted to get out, and later on it seemed like he is against it. I thought I misunderstood something.😓 Subaru said that he liked Emilia because she helped him but yea probably also because he saw her like an angel and she is cute 😅I do believe still that Rem has done way more for Subaru than Emilia but I guess we will see what happens.
