I suggest that you use the word "loli" with caution. The word has negative connotations, and it is often misused in Japan. If you want, you can look up the definition of the word. However, Subaru does not use it with that meaning. You may ask: Why doesn't Subaru use it with that meaning? Well, explaining this would require a somewhat deeper understanding of Japanese culture, so I do not wish to elaborate here. However, please be very careful when using this word. Have a nice day. You will grow. You will become even bigger than you are now.

I'm gonna try and make shorter comments from now on, I feel like I've been yapping way too much. I'm not quite sure what the breaking was when Subaru used Shamac but it probably must have been his gate once again, since I think I remember Felix saying that his gate isn't fully healed still. Back at the start of the season Echidna said something along the lines of strengthening Subaru's connection to the Sloth Witch Factor, and here we learn that due to that he can now use the same power Petelguse used, although one hand from what we can see. I doubt he can control it too well, just like his gate, so I wouldn't expect him to rely on it from now on. Garfiel being almost 14 while being so buff is probably why he looks so old lol. Definitely a surprise. We also see what Subaru did when he left Emilia's side and why he was so beat up before the kiss scene. He did lose his qualification so he was drawing those things on the wall for Emilia while contstantly being weakened and stuff. Love to see Emilia be strong and face her past. I also don't think Emilia meant that she's actually a witch like Satella or something, I think she meant to just own the awful nickname she has constantly been given because of how she looks. Although, she did call herself a Frozen Witch back in one of the OVA's we saw. As the other witches we've seen are called by different sins like Gluttony or Pride, I think she's just imitating that in a way, not that she's an actual witch like Satella or anything.

?? It is not that serious. Anytime I've heard Sprinkle use the word loli it was fine, this warning seems a bit much imo.

I haven’t finished watching all your reactions to the later episodes yet, so I’m not sure if this gets addressed later, but from what I understand, when Echidna calls Emilia “the Witch’s daughter,” she doesn’t mean it literally. It’s just another insult, kind of like when people call Emilia “half-devil.” As for when Pandora calls he "witch's daughter" later on I'm not 100% about that, tbh the identity of her real parents have no yet been revealed, so I can't say for sure whether there is actually some truth behind why they call her that or if they are just saying that cause of her resemblance to Satella. As for her calling herself “The Frozen Witch,” I think Emilia is referring to her past. That was a title given to her by others after they found her in the frozen forest. With her resemblance to Satella — one of the witches — and being discovered in the middle of that frozen place, people started calling her “the Frozen Witch.” This just my interpretation of things at least, if anyone sees anything wrong with what I said feel free to lmk.

I gotta say, Garfiel is my favorite side character. I always tear up at his backstory. Just like with Otto, his role in the story is not over yet, so I’m looking forward to your next reactions! The cracking and Subaru saying “thank you” after using Shamac was his gate shattering. In the beginning of the season, Felix said that it was badly damaged and he needs to let it rest for at least 2 months. In the light novel, it was stated that Subaru clearly felt it breaking and wanted to thank it for helping him thus far. As for the Frozen Witch and Witch’s Daughter, these titles aren’t to be taken seriously here. It was just another one of Echidna’s jabs and Emilia used that name to stand up for herself, showing that those comparisons don’t bother her anymore.

so that's what Echidna was talking about before about the witch factor! it didn't make any sense to me but I see what it is now. 😲 maybe in the future Subaru will be able to control it better, I think he will be really powerful with it like Petelguse was!!

The scene where Subaru is forcing Garfiel to back up is fantastic. He was so unprepared for that verbal assault. Also we have a new incredibly valuable ally now!

There's no issue in using the term. And most anime watchers in the west use loli to refer to any anime little girl and a ton of people in Japan also use the term like that.
