It's been shown to be somewhat random with their memories but it was hinted that Rui (lower five) seemed to lose his memories either over time or from the trauma of killing his parents. It does seem that the demons that don't regret their actions at all have better memories so it could be that Muzan does it to them on purpose. just my own theories anyway.

I saw this movie in 4DX. With the moving seats, wind, water, and even jolts to the seat, you’re completely immersed in the experience. Whenever someone fell, the seat would tilt, and when Akaza was being punished, the seat would deliver a blow to your back at the exact same moment... it was incredible !

Yesterday was such a great day that I finished with this reaction. When I saw the notification I was wondering if we had your reaction to all the seasons but ofc that wasn't the case. But anyways, It was a year ago when I saw it at the cinema with friends, it was beautiful and still is. Since now I was at home I could let out all my emotions. We had some funny moments but of course, the incredible animated fights were the highlight and finally got to see Akaza's backstory, I could cry a lot on my bed at midnight T_T I think, whether Mudan makes them forget their memories or not, I think another possibility it's that some demons block their memories to protect themselves, since in his case.. it was so tragic and painful.. Beautiful music too of course but, if I keep talking about all the things I liked about the movie and the reaction it's not going to end soon hehe Cried at the manga, at the cinema and on my room. Thanks for the reaction Sprinkle , loved it 💖💖💖

Also, Akaza never killed any woman, and I think he was the most respectful one out of the demons

I totally understand what you are saying this movie was so full of emotions I never expected to feel so sad for a demon but Akaza was different from the rest 🥹 You are right about Akaza! I never noticed that he never killed women. that's interesting. he saw the weak ones as the ones who resort to underhanded methods to get to him instead of fighting him head on, I misunderstood this about him because it wasn't clear at the start until we saw his full story. so he really wanted to protect the weak which in this case were his father, master and wife 😭 beautiful yet tragic story 💖

Yes. Since I ended up watching it so late at night, I slept as soon as it ended, but left the final minutes where you talk about the movie. Today morning on my way to work, watched the final minutes again and I almost cried in the bus 😭, but could finish the whole video. Hopefully it's not so long until the next movie. The best of the best fight, the absolutely PEAK it's coming soon!!!! You are not prepared Sprinkle 🙈😱🔥😭

I feel sorry for Akaza!!!! That poor guy lost everything... he lost his humanity before becoming a demon... and what sucks is that he didn't get the chance to choose it. Heck Akaza had balls of steel trying to fight Muzan. Even an unkillable demon wasn't going to stop his rampage... Now the demon self is like a completely different person. Just a blank state.. Yet something inside him keep on telling this demon self not to kill women or children. That's probably why he never ranked up to 2 rank.
