I reached out to Patreon Support to confirm what I mentioned in my previous post regarding the access issues some of you have been experiencing.

After investigating what happened, they confirmed that the issue is exactly as I suspected. I've attached a screenshot of their response.

If you're one of the affected members and would like to regain access to the content, the correct approach is to cancel your current membership and then resubscribe. Patreon has confirmed that this restores your access and restarts your billing correctly.
