Uraraka, you did your best, great fight!! But, no way!!! I though Deku vs Todoroki was in semifinals! I guess I was remembering the wrong thing haha Can't wait for it! This is the fight I've told you before I was so looking forward to see again!! ヾ(≧▽≦*)

It's sad but Uraraka stood no chance. Bakugo's quirk was too strong and just had more utility. She did put up a good fight though, she did all she could. A lot of people misunderstand Bakugo here. As Aizawa said, Bakugo gave his all against her because he saw her as a worthy opponent. This was basically confirmed by Bakugo even saying that she wasn't frail, like everyone else thought her to be. Also, it's worth pointing out that even though Bakugo is very explosive in how he acts, he's actually a really good strategist and can actually think very well during fights. I believe we saw it here, even as Uraraka caught him by surprise. That moment with Ochaco crying gets me always so emotional 😭

Yea bakugo is growing too, he let go of his anger a bit and started using hia head 😅

I think he's probably always using his head, but he just expresses himself very loudly, although, there are probably times when his thoughts are disrupted, like Deku standing up to him during the training (but even then he managed to come up with a way to outsmart him, because Deku thought he could get him when he attacked with his right hand, he managed to fly around him instead and attack his back instead, meaning that once he does overcome whatever could surprise him, he can think very well even on his feet).

To some extent for sure, he's finally realized that he's not the strongest and that there are other people that are as strong if not stronger than he is.

after bakugo had to use his giant blast to defend himself from Uraraka's big move. you'll notice he goes to call her one of the nicknames he gives to everyone but stops and uses her actual name after that moment he starts seeing her as hero material. She earned his respect

it wasn't as clear in the japanese as it was in the english. English Version he starts to say something insulting stops himself and calls her by name
