48:16 Franky is all of us in this scene. Robin's voice actor completely hit it out of the park with that line. No-one escapes the Robin flashback emotionally unscathed. The tears are never too far away with One Piece

Saul’s line is so incredibly true and before I met my wife I was genuinely sure no one would ever love me or want me around (I’d never had friends before her and well let’s just say my past isn’t exactly the happiest 😅) but the day I met her was the day I stopped being alone and it was when I realized it’s true: “no matter who they are ain’t nobody born into this world to be alone!” 🥹

I really like the mysteries in One Piece, but through rewatching it, I think they wouldn't be as effective as plot points if it wasn't for the characters it affects. Either directly or indirectly and the drama it causes. It's the emotional core that ties it all together.
