Nothing Deku won't do to save a friend even if he loses. This episode animation style still holds up 9 years later and wild how it's progressed since thinking about it given the era of anime it was in compared to the bigger budgets now.

We can all see Endeavor was a bad parent and everything he has done is just awful, but when I see people react to it, they usually put the blame on him alone. I don't think I see people also condemn the mother for throwing boiling water at her own child, no matter the reason. Sure, Endeavor might have been the reason why she did it, but that doesn't justify it, just like it doesn't justify what Endeavor is doing because of All Might. Both parents are bad, Endeavor more, sure, but both of them are bad. That was an amazing fight; It's not about what power comes from who, it's about how you use it and what you use it for. It's his own power. Deku did really save Todoroki there.

I agree that the mother is responsible for what she did and that it doesn't justify it. I just think there's a difference between excusing her actions and understanding what led her to that point. Endeavor created such an abusive environment for his family through years of continuous abuse, so I think he deserves most of the blame for the situation, even though the mother is still responsible for her own actions.

I agree, I just think a lot of people don't really blame the mother at all for what she did. Yes, it was because of Endeavor ultimately, but that doesn't really make it any better. Horrible family situation in general. 😔

I think what happens when watching todoroki's story is everyone is too shocked by what endeavor did that he becomes the only focus of blame/hate 🥲

I feel like I can give her somewhat more room for arguement because endeavor litterly broke her mind from all the abuse. She was going insane.

I agree that it's not fully her fault, but that's also not a justification. If you view this from the standpoint of law enforcement, being insane isn't a justification to harm someone. You would still face punishment for your crime.
