I can understand kind of why Bakugo is like he is. He wants to win on his own, without help from anyone else because that would make him feel like he's strong, that he can overcome whatever it is and be stronger than anyone. If he tried to rely on someone else, it would essentially mean admitting that he's not strong enough to do something on his own. It's all ego. There is a point where wanting to do something on your own becomes selfish, rather than admirable. Bakugo is clearly selfish here. Why Deku punched Bakugo was to show that he's being selfish, as he went so far where he was fine losing instead if it meant working together with someone. Deku always saw Bakugo as someone who was trying to get stronger and be the strongest to win. It's really telling when someone who is so dead set on winning everything, is fine losing. This episode is one of my favorites of this season. It really shows everything about Deku and Bakugo and their connection to All Might and their feeling towards eachother. While things didn't get resolved between them, one can only hope they understand eachother just a tiny bit better. At least they worked together to run away (and Deku to at least fight All Might to some extent) and do what had to be done.

Deku could use Bakugo's gauntlet because the gauntlet's are designed to hold Bakugo's sweat, which is what makes the explosions. After a few minutes of fighting, Bakugo basically has 2 extra powerful bombs at his disposal when fighting with his gauntlets.

I think a big part of it too is that he specifically made All Might his idol. If he had latched onto another hero, one that had side kicks or teamed up with others, he might not have as much an issue about needing to be the strongest.

it was hard to watch honestly, seeing Bakugo shouting at Deku and then punch him too, that scared and shocked me, didn't think he would take it that far. 😭

They are children who don't know how to communicate with eachother. It's really sad.

He intentionally designed it that way so he wouldn't constantly hurt his arms (like he did after the gauntlets were destroyed) so he would be able to still fire off big explosions like he did.

All Might really hated Deku's back like he held a grudge, he almost impaled him with a fence the first time and bounced him off a bus the second time. 🤣 Bakugo is a very complicated with his feelings toward Deku.
