Since I can't explain it myself as I'm not that knowledgeable in fashion, I found a post online explaining what Gyaru is: It's borrowed from the English "Gal" and is a subculture that blends fashion, trendiness, and ostentatiousness into a fairly distinct look. This can include some or all of: Baggy, loose, or revealing clothing (often a combination with oversized shirts and short shorts or skirts) Animal (leopard, etc) prints or other "loud" patterns Heavy makeup use Tanned (or fake-tanned) skin Dyed hair (usually light or bright colors like blonde or strawberry) Bright, flashy (fake) nails Bright, flashy accessories (jewelry, bracelets, hair ties or clips, bedazzled phone cases, etc)

About cold: you are not catching it, because it's cold outside, and you didn't dress up properly, since the common cold is caused by a virus. But if you let your body cool down too much, you are more likely to get infected. I guess since the name "cold", because people usually get it when they are cold.

Also the whole cold weather leading to illness you immune system work better under heat thats why you get fevers when you're sick your body increases it's temperature to help slow the illness and boost its immune response. Its why up to a certain point doctor tend to advise against fever reducing meds so your body can fight back more effectively so below 101 F or 38.3 C you'll often hear that you should try to just stay comfortable without fever reducing meds and use cool packs instead
