While Benny may not be a good person he definitely has some of the best lines/moments in the movie (especially the “someday I might” and being on the wrong side of the river 😂)

It seems there should have been subtitles when they are speaking other language than english but for some reason some platforms won't provide them but I'm still exited for this reaction! This is my favorite adventure movie with some spooky elements

Such is the fate of a rat (Beni), they never meet a good end lol 😅 but this movie is famous for being a fun ride with a good mix of horror, action, and humor. I'm so glad you watched this movie, it was one of my favorites growing up!

The insects that are eating people and are also drawn on the walls are beetles a creature synonymous with Egyptian mythology and culture

2:01:52 The plan succeed, we're making you getting use to horror movie to suggest MORE horror movie, Muhahaha /jk. 24:40 he actually got choke in real life and past out. Benni died because he was greedy, he been going in and out to get more golds, the room was full of it and he was loading it onto the camels. The mummy 2 is great too, although it have a bit wonky CGI when it matter most (it look cartoonish), but overall it still a fun movie to watch.

2026-09-26 21:00 Sadly this version had no subtitles for all the different languages, so I understand your confusion at some part... Originally there was subs for all the ancient Egyptian and Arabic dialogs, so we understood what Imhotep talked to Beny or Evy. And I hate how they made Beny "swear in Hungarian", and as a Hungarian, I can just guess what the hell he said... :D Still one of my favorite adventure movies, I'm glad you enjoyed it too. :)

hahahaha but this one wasn't super horror I feel like it was more of a not serious horror 😂 I think I should try comedy horror next time and see how I can handle it lol ohhh that's why he went back inside! I didn't realise that's what he was doing omg he really was too greedy 😥

Also if you plan to continue watching this story the movie is part of a trilogy The Mummy The Mummy returns The Mummy tomb of the dragon emperor And they are working on a fourth one currently, their also a reboot movie from 2017 not related to the first three

Thats a bummer but if you react to the second movie perhaps other streaming platforms would be better, I'm using disney plus and they luckily have subitles for mummy 2 when speaking other languages but I don' know if it is region specific.

What a fun movie it is, a good old classic, it was so nice to watch it again. So many funny moments, but some scary too. I could see your expressions of fear haha, those bugs surely are something to be afraid of!!! And Beni got what he deserved for being greedy 😜 It was also true, that some things didnt seem right, like at the end, couldn't Imhotep see that they were casting the spell to take out his inmortality? A bit wierd, but it was fun overall. Between this one and the sequel, i've watched those movies a loooooot, nostalgia hehe Thanks for the reaction! ✨✨

By the river, after he realize he is realy on the wrong side, he starts with "Isten" (God), but the rest is incomprehensible... I went back, and tried many times to listen, but he butchered the pronounciation so bad, I have no idea what is he saying exactly. :D During the "spring cleaning", when asked about his new friend, he's saying "piszkos élet", meaning "dirty life", or more like in the sense of "fuck this life". I don't remember if there was other instances of he swearing...

This is such a nostalgic movie that's just a fun time overall glad you enjoyed it. On your question on how he lit the matches, you can actually buy strike on anything matches that can be lit by striking them on pretty much any hard friction against them. They used to be alot more common for people to use before boxes to light them were super common.

this is one of my favorite movies. to me, Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz are an absolut dreamteam and the rest of the cast was also really well done. and sorry to say but i really liked your screaming. it was so cute. really hoping to see you watch more horror(comedy) movies. xD
