So in the manga, theirs a tiny extra panel that explains that when Gojo was doing the mental math of how much Marin was eating, he misplaced the comma and thought it was 50,000 calories, when it was supposed to be 5,000. For some reason the anime left it out.

As a guy, I do understand Gojo for "fearing" (not quite the right word) Marin for buying the KISS M camera. As someone who goes through like a hundred different items just to look for the best quality thing, doing days of research and looking at reviews and stuff, I understand it. Marin essentially picked the camera based on her feelings, she didn't really pay attention to what the camera can do, what it can't do and so on. Based on this, I personally would assume that Marin is like that when buying everything. Gojo on the other hand, as we've already seen, when picking out things like fabric and such is very methotical and analyzing. Trying to find THE BEST one that fits the outfit or the setting. It's clear that he tends to really pay attention to all the details and if he were to buy a camera, he would definitely be someone like me who spends days on finding just the right thing. He even showed it in this episode with the COS board for making props. He did research on it and went out of his way to contact someone who knows about it to learn even more. Also I don't want to seem like someone who thinks badly of people who do buy things on feelings, it's fine (after all, if it's your money, why should I care what you do with it), but I personally would view that as a wasted opportunity to buy things that might be way better but slightly more expensive or things that are cheaper but about the same in quality. I'm also sure not all girls buy things based on feelings and I imagine there are plenty of guys who do, but this is just based on what I've personally experienced. My mom loves buying all sorts of things and she doesn't really pay attention to reviews or anything lol 😭 I think that Suzuka recommending it (or rather using the camera herself) does say a lot about the camera, so it's not like it will be a bad purchase, but there still could've been a better choice maybe in terms of features or price.
