You are right that is the weapon that she used when the test thing went bad and when she took it out she mentioned how it felt gross to use considering who owned it before hand is understandable why she felt like that

Little fun fact that also kinda explains why this story feels a little off in some places. The author wrote this before JJK it was meant to be just a short story but people loved it so much they wanted more so he started JJK. So Yuta is technically the first main character of JJK.

It's interesting how many details to season 1 exist in this prequel movie. Like how they mention 2 students who weren't in the school at the time of the Tournament Arc one of them being Yuta, and how he was on mission in Africa with Miguel which is the scene we see in the post credit of this movie. Which then lines up with the business trip Gojo was on in season 1 which is why he wasn't in some episodes of that season.

gojo wears a blindfold because his immense power causes his eyes to be hyper sensitive, so by wearing a blindfold his senses relax, but he's able to still see because he senses the cursed energy around him. his eyes allow him to see cursed energy at an atomic level, so he takes it off in combat so he can be precise and unleash his full power.

We don't see how she got it but i assume it was dropped by geto and the school collected it during the cleanup and because she is allowed access to the cursed equipment because of her needing them to fight she desided to use it even if it grossed her out as she is a bit more of a practical person

Yup, I also looked over this moment on my first watch, but it's nice to see the detail on a rewatch. This was in episode 6, when Gojo was talking how talented the students have been, after Yuji had "died".

Ah, Yuta my favorite main character :D. Ah, I can't wait to see him again! Also Black Flashes can be used by "anyone". The sorcerer has to be in the "zone" and these Black Flashes is like a massive boost to your, well everything really. Like a critical stats up and (I think restore your curse energy. I could be wrong about that)

So from my understanding, Yuta is a descendant from a very powerful sorcerer He cursed Rika when she died and because he was so powerful, she became a special grade curse From Geto's point of view, Rika was bound to Yuta so if he killed Yuta then he could absorb Rika. In reality Yuta had created and bound Rika to himself at the age of 10(?) because he was so powerful I might be wrong though but you will learn more about Yuta and Jujutsu in season 2 and 3 anyway I love this movie, I've watched it so many times and it always makes me cry Yuta saying "I want the confidence to say it's okay that I'm alive" always gets me (˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )

1:06:26 That was Gojo almost shooting off one of his attacks to kill Geto, but it seems like he couldn't bring himself to do it, especially in such a crowded place. 1:34:06 What Yuta did wasn't really Yuji's attack or ability, it was something called Black Flash. We learned about this in season 1 and it's something only some people can do. It was even brought up that Nanami held the record for most amount of consecutive Black Flashes, which was 4 (we see this at 1:37:05). If Nanami, someone so experienced and strong, can do it only 4 times in a row, it's a pretty hard thing to pull off. Once you experience landing a Black Flash on someone, your understanding of Cursed Energy will be that of "heaven and earth" compared to a normal sorcerer. Which is why Yuji has a better control over his Cursed Energy after that. Also, based on what you said, I imagine you already reacted to the openings. There is an interesting "opening" I'd also love for you to check out, even if it's on your own and not for a video. It's the opening song for Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade game and it's made by Eve, it's intentionally made to be similar to the first opening of the show, also made by Eve. You could look at the video that they show in the game, but I think the original music video for the song is a lot more interesting (the one with red-black-and-white color scheme) as it features a lot of Jujutsu Kaisen imagery, like Black Flashes, Gojo's domain, some symbols for the clans and a bunch of else. There is so much hidden there and it's also a super good song. I wonder how many things you can spot? Looking forward to watching the rest of the show with you! 💖

I see I See!! I was wondering at the end of the movie about how powerful Yuta is now that he lost Rika but it's actually the opposite, the reason she is a special class curse was because of Yuta! he is plenty strong on his own 😮 Thank you for the clarification (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) 💖

Haha that's okay, it can get confusing when you're hearing other characters trying to guess a different characters powers and abilities I believe after he set Rika free all of the cursed energy she had was returned to him but I could be wrong about that Yuta will explain his powers and stuff in a later episode ദ്ദി(˃ ᵕ ˂ ദ്ദി) If you ever are confused about abilities feel free to say something like "I'm a little confused about Megumi's powers" and someone should explain in the comments (we are well behaved Sprinklings, we won't spoil)

Yup, yup. It just Yuji's doesn't have a technique. He just throws punches. Okay well the fist thing he kinda did during the exam in season 1 was more of him understanding the use of cursed.
