it's ok to not catch on to everything since there is a lot to grasp just voice your confusion so the comments can explain also i never agreed to how Suzaku is thinking in this argument with Zero on what's the right way to deal with Britania, as much as i hate conflict Suzaku's way made no sence to me because of how corrupt the nation is

for your question about why it is called "code geass" the "geass" part was explained by another commenter and the "code" part will be explained in the show in the last few episodes of the 2nd season (ok it will not be explained but it will be mentioned). Suzaku is an idealist to an extrem and Lelouch is a realist to an extrem.
