The golden form is called Super Sonic, and it's actually different in the games. Instead of only using the Master Emerald, Sonic use 7 Chaos Emeralds to transform.

Sonic takes some inspiration from Dragonball its why we have things like his golden form called Super Sonic which is like Super Saiyan. There's also 7 chaos emeralds kind of like 7 dragonballs. Next movie we get Shadow the Hedgehog many fans favorite character because of how cool he is. He even has one of the coolest themes in Sonic.

Pro tip for the games: you don’t have to collect all the rings, you just need to run to the end of the stage as fast as you can. Lol, Also, you should checkout sonic adventure 2, even just the cutscenes if you want, that will be the inspiration for the story in Sonic 3

oh really? I thought I needed all the rings lol 😂

DragonWithaBeard

Oh no, that would be extremely difficult for anybody. 😆

wow dragon ball! that's cool! I didn't think of that 😮
