There's nothing to really say about this episode as it's more of a setup episode for what's to come. Askeladd is a pretty smart guy though. Not only did he figure out what Floki was doing by hiring them instead of killing Thors himself, but he also managed to make a good trap for Thors. He didn't destroy all the buildings as not to make the trap obvious and what he got from destroying the buildings he used to block off the exit. You can also tell what kind of person Thors is now, because he didn't even think of taking anyone with him to the battlefield. What a massive change from someone you could imagine was a typical murdering and pillaging type of viking in the past. Bjorn is an old norse name that means "Bear". Sometimes it's written as Björn. The mushroom Bjorn ate was a fly agaric. There are no real way to tell if vikings actually ate fly agaric mushrooms to induce what people call "berserker rage", but it's been mentioned time and time again in various media and sources that it may have been truly the case. Of course, the mushroom itself is actually poisonous and apparently known to have psychoactive and hallucinogenic properties, but I wouldn't personally suggest trying it.
