I forgot to cover Bob Backlund in Battlarts in a previous vid, so now I'm rectifying that. It's kind of a blessing as we get to cover the Battlarts B-Cup! A strange tournament which will see as big a styles clash as it gets: Backlund against The Great Sasuke, and plenty more besides. There's a lot of cool matches, a chance to talk a lot about Battlarts, and some fun factoids. Enjoy!

Super Vader

Very good video. I really like when you cast a spotlight on a more obscure promotion like Battlearts. The dive that Otsuka preformed in his match with the Road Warriors looked very high risk. Bob Backlund has never eaten marijuana!

That dive from Otsuka is absolutely outrageous, and looking at it I'm not sure if Hawk even freaking caught him. He could have EASILY spiked his head. That sort of dive over the corner is something that the likes of Ricochet absolutely wowed crowds with 15 or so years later (albeit a lot cleaner obviously).
