Mayhem in Monsterland is one of the last and greatest games released for the almighty Commodore 64 -- an incredibly advanced title for the system, and an excellent swansong. One magazine felt so strongly about its brilliance that they handed it the rarest of things -- a perfect 100% score, something that's still talked about to this day. This video examines the game, its development, THAT review, and how despite being released at the end of the microcomputers era, it was also in many ways the start of a new beginning.
