五月ですね。私の住む地域は今日は雨が降っていました。五月の雨です。

ここで何となく私の名前「may_rain」という名前の由来をお話ししましょう…。

私は以前pixivで五月雨式という名前でDAZSTUDIOの画像を投稿しておりました。

（DAZ勢は軒並みBANを食らい、私も例外なくBANされました）五月雨式という名前も、適当にキーボードを叩いて予測変換された単語を適当に選んだだけだったりします💦

新しく投稿をするにあたって、海外の方にも簡単に読めるように、そのまま訳してmayrain。

ただし既に使用されている方がいらっしゃったのでアンダーバーを付けてmay_rainとなった次第であります。なんだかオサレな感じで、すかしてんじゃねえよといった名前ですが、特に深い意味は無いのであります(^^)/

It’s May. It was raining today where I live. May rain.

I guess I’ll take this opportunity to explain the origin of my name, “may_rain”…

I used to post DAZSTUDIO images on pixiv under the name "Samidare-shiki."

(The DAZ community got banned en masse, and I was no exception.) The name "Samidare-shiki" was actually just a word I picked at random from the autocomplete suggestions after randomly typing on the keyboard 💦

When I started posting again, I decided to translate it directly to “mayrain” so that people overseas could read it easily.

However, since someone else was already using that name, I added an underscore, and that’s how “may_rain” came to be. It kind of has a trendy vibe to it—like I’m trying to be all cool—but there’s really no deep meaning behind it (^^)/
