damn if you were to play sonic mania before playing this you wouldve gotten more pissed off then words can describe, so it's a good thing you didnt yet, because getting angry is bad for your health

Another typical Sonic instalment on the growing pile of, at most, 100 mediocre games. A shame too because I'm an absolute SUCKER for games with a ton of customisation! I haven't played a sonic game since Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog, I used to think that game was so bad-arse and edgy! Then I go back and play them both and question how I could have possibly enjoyed them in the first place. Most of the games seem to try and keep your attention with endless waves of copy and paste enemies, super-fast on-rail segments and tapping the same buttons from start to finish. It just ends up feeling incredibly... unengaging, at least for me. Perhaps Sonic is simply something that can only be enjoyed by a younger audience, it's just something you end up growing out of! Awesome review Caddy!
