Happy Valentine's, you gorgeous patrons! Thanks so much once again for the support, and due to being at a con all weekend, I was unable to get a video done in time - so enjoy this review of Sonic Mania before going back to normal from next Weds onwards :)

Sonic Mania - I ACTUALLY LIKE SONIC NOW

Yet another review of a game that's already months old, and I'm sorry. But hey - I couldn't resist this one - which is the most surprising thing for me and Sonic the Hedgehog. I thought Forces kicked ass and I don't think Sonic Team should be "ashamed" at all.

Mania isn't an indie game, just so you know. If it were, the makers of it would've been sued to the moon and back. Sonic Team hired those guys to make the game WITH them.

I still have no idea why you played Forces before this, but glad to see you enjoyed the game! This was my GOTY 2017 and I have no regrets with that statement.

I never thought we would see the day you'd like a Sonic game. I loved the original Genesis games, Heroes, and Generations. I never actually played any of the other games due to lack of interest in them. So of course Mania is my favorite Sonic game of all time and God damn there needs to be more! The moment I bought my Switch I bought Mania and it was absolute bliss hearing the good old Green Hills and Chemical Plant music again even if a little updated.
