WHAT AM I WORKING ON?! (Sat 10th - Sat 17th October 2018) (Patreon)

Hey there everyone and thanks once more for your undying support! Sorry for the lack of episode 2 days ago - as I'm sure you'll understand when I reveal the game for the next episode,  it wouldn't have been possible to get it up in time. But hey, I hope at least you enjoyed the Luigi's Mansion 3DS review! A few things have happened since my last episode aside from preparation for the next episode, though - most notably, the fact that I got 3 copyright claims all in one go. The last two were from my Peppa Pig and Peppa Pig Magazine videos from the same exact companies that already tried to claim me months ago (but you know, they're allowed to do it as many times as they'd like without consequence so lolololol) - but the first one I got was one of the stranger ones I've ever had. It was a claim from a random company without a single trace of them existing online, and it was all from my Season 4 compilation video - which as we all know, is a compilation of review videos, and entirely legal. After getting my network to contact them after my first dispute was rejected (2 rejections means they could take down my video and take me to court), they said that I had 'stolen footage of their client's domino videos and used the name of their channel to boost my own views'. Yes, apparently, my Mr Domino video, that includes around 7 seconds of stock domino footage used in the context of joking and commenting on the very same footage, was a breach of copyright - and apparently worth them asking for $1000 for use of the footage. A joke, right? Especially considering the fact they've never even claimed the original video - instead, the one with over 3 hours worth of ads. Genius. Anyway - I got it all sorted and managed to get away with paying the channel owner directly with $60 for her trouble. She was as shocked as I was that her network did that!

ANYWAY - with all that said, what on earth have I been working on? Well - the next episode due this Saturday is of Red Dead Redemption 2. It WAS planned to be a review, but it got way too big, and too many jokes sprung up from it. I don't even want to know how many hours I've spent on the game this past week, but hey, it's finished and the video is gonna be hopefully a good time. After that, the following Saturday will have me doing a video on Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. Not a review of the trilogy itself - but actually a top 10. A top 10 worst moments of the remake. I'm not expecting it to be shit, don't get me wrong - but I mean more of those moments within the trilogy I generally just don't like, and what I can yell about for a few minutes. I can't tell you how excited I am to play the game and it looks fabulous - so a bit of a juxtaposed video may be a funny time. I also should be getting a review copy, so having the video done so soon after the game comes out shouldn't be too difficult!
