Hey there, everyone - and once again, thank you a million times over for the continued love and support for the channel. This is going to be a bitter-sweet post, but it's a necessary one. After a lot of thinking and planning out every possible route, I have made the decision to completely change how this Patreon page works, and how rewards will work going forward.

First of all - I'm going to refund EVERY pledge that was made for video credits, early access videos and Q+As for this month. If anything has been proven over 2021 and the start of 2022 for me - my own personal life and family life combined just don't mix well with promises to create patreon-only content on a more regular basis that I'd like. Whether it's the kids getting sick, PC parts fucking up, emergencies with extended family, or even my own stuff I have to deal with - I feel far too guilty to keep up these patreon rewards based on monthly videos and streams if I can't personally keep up with them for whatever reason. Even more recently - if any of you follow me on twitter, you'd know that I recently came down with a major allergic reaction. I have NO clue what triggered it. My whole body has come down in lumps, hives and swelling - including a little bit around the throat. I've been to hospital, I've had the treatment I've needed, but I'm still needing to go back and forth to the doctors to try different treatments based on how I'm feeling every day. I've been unbearably itchy for nearly an entire week now (even with the treatment, though it has helped me sleep!), and scratched so much to the point of bleeding over my bedsheets. I can't sit still, let alone think about streaming and making videos.

This is just the start of the year for me - and even though the next video is due in late-February, I can't PROMISE it will be done. I just don't feel confident enough anymore saying 'DON'T WORRY GUYS, THERE'LL BE SOMETHING DONE NEXT MONTH' whenever a deadline is missed. Because of this - I'm removing and changing many of the rewards so that you're supporting the videos and streams on a regular basis, and only getting rewards back based on the fact that I can 100% deliver them to you whatever happens. This means no more shout outs, no more Q+As, and a big discount to early access ad-free videos. When it comes to credits - I'd still LOVE to do them as a public thank you for the funding - but again, the monthly schedule is suspect even at this point in my life as shit keeps going wrong for me. Because of that, I'm keeping the credits, but reducing the price and MASSIVELY changing how it works with full front-up transparency on what your money is going to every single month. The $1 and $3 tiers are still there - the final tier will be $6. The idea behind it is that you are an 'executive producer' at that point. You will be able to vote on streams, you will get access to producer-only posts where I ask you question, you WILL get early access ad-free videos, and you WILL be mentioned in the credits - but for the latter 2 - you'll get them whenever the videos are done, and will get thanked in the credits sequence for the respective month you supported.

I didn't want to do this at all - in fact, I wanted to change my page from a 'monthly' subscription to a 'per creation' subscription, making TONNES more sense for everyone with how inconsistent videos have been recently, and keeping all the rewards the same. However, as you can see from the attached screenshot, for whatever reason I literally cannot change the type of page I run. I can only stick with monthly, or start the entire page from scratch, which is honestly just a dumb idea, haha. With everything that's changing, PLEASE check the main page on Patreon to update everything you want to do based on the new rewards.

I'm going to spend the rest of the night updating everything on the page, and by the latest date, tomorrow, the new stuff should be ready for you before Patreon starts charging you a few days later on Feb 1st. Thank you all so much once again for everything - you support has not gone unnoticed (as evident from my massive post thanking you with the itemised list of things you've helped me purchase for videos!), and I hope this is a good compromise for you all. At the end of the day, I just wanna do what's fair. You've all been too good to me for this much dicking around! Thanks again everyone.

SMCD

It is always important to focus on your health than the video production sure it might take awhile to see new uploads but it’s always good to take care yourself first than doing other things. Take care Caddy

Please don't stress yourself out over this, we completely understand and respect that you need time to not only recover but also to get back on schedule. We're happy to binge all of your old content whilst you recover!

Hey man, it's alright. You do what you wanna do, but any money I give out, I want you to keep it. The whole monthly thing I let stay for a reason, because I wanted to help support you guys. Anything that comes out of my money, I'd rather you keep it. I can't speak for everyone else, but for me, I know it's going to a man who will use that money well, whether it would be for your family, or for your content. If possible, and if allowed by you, I'd like to keep it to a monthly thing. I know what I'm in for, and I completely understand there will be issues. It's entirely up to you whether or not you'll wanna change how pledging on your Patreon works, but I want you to know that to me, it's completely fine. I hope you get better soon man, I'll be praying for you and your family's safety and health. Get as much rest as you can.

I personally subscribe to help support you through the good AND the bad, not particularly for the rewards, appreciated as they are. With what little I give, I just want to assist my favorite content creators so they can continue to create content happily and healthily. Yes, that includes you, Caddy! I'll switch to a different tier if I need to but not for the rewards, you beautiful scratch and sniff (sorry, I hope that's not too soon).

We all hope things get better for you. You're a lovely and genuine person and never have to apologise to people for what life throws at you. We are all here to support you through highs and lows caddy.

Dr. Pawsworth

You do what you think's best, Caddy. We're all here for you!

Rebecca

I’m so sorry to hear that. That’s awful. Do what you need to do for you and yours, Caddy, and thanks for the honesty :) take care.

Dave Marshall

Hi Caddy, one of the great things about you is how you're always thinking of your patrons and wanting to give them your all. I just hope you're not left at too much of a financial disadvantage by rejigging your tiers, because I'm happy to keep supporting you no matter when (or how often) the videos arrive.

Ingeborg Anne Rakvåg

You’re OKAY, Caddy. My support isn’t conditional. And I wish you would stop blaming yourself for getting poorly!

Luke Johnston

Ever since the bricks dropped off their child, you've experienced nothin but misery while making your videos. But in all seriousness, I'm with you. Your fans are with you. We hope that you feel better. And I hope that you'll return healthy and back to your clownish self again very soon. February, March, whatever month you come back, I'll be seeing you.

Kalvin Koskela

I'm really sorry to hear that, Caddy. I hope as much as everyone else here does that you'll make a full recovery.

Shadic Alucard

Whatever works for you Caddy. Just take your time, and we will happily wait 😁

Stefano Ureña

Stay safe and get better Caddy! I think people like me and many more don't mind to still pay for the patreon because we can see that you really care for us. I hope all this support helps you get an early recovery. I understand what you are going through, last year I also had lumps and itches all over my body, even bubbles in my palms, but your streams were there to help me go through all that and even help me to get a wee bit of sleep (at the time getting 3h of sleep was a miracle). So don't worry, be patience and try to distract yourself from the itchiness.

Sybor and Mom

Stay safe, take your time. I have to agree with most of what's already written. I don't need rewards for supporting you, your vids are reward enough. That said, and let me repeat myself, stay safe, take your time, take care of you and your family! We'll still be here when you're healthy and ready.

DarkMage Nugget Studio

However long it takes you, I'm still happy to support. Hope your recovery goes smooth. ^-^

Losingduck

I will still pay the $20 to support you. :)

I'm a bit late to the party (only just saw your most recent post referring to this, for some reason I've not been getting Patreon notifications). Honestly, in a lot of ways, I prefer to pay monthly. Because I don't see the money as paying for a product, as such, but more investing in you and your content as a whole. Plus, the paternal part of my head sees it as giving you peace of mind and more stability in your income. That being said, putting the executive producer rank at £6 puts it within reach for me. With my own income increasing, I'm able to invest more money in the content I want to see (although I've had to reduce it this month - I may have had a manic month and overspent, so just needed to reduce my spending to get a clearer sense of my own finances). I had been a YouTube Premium member, but trialling this next month cancelling that and instead putting more money into Patreon, as well as a year's Nebula subscription. No idea whether Nebula is an option for your content or how that might work with YouTubeland, I did see Low Spec Gamer was on there. Also, your Jesus episode was fucking amazing. Seeing you run around in pure joy as Jesus at that restaurant was one of the highlights of my year. More to the point, every video in the last 2 years has been proof a subscription for you is worth it.
