'My name isn't on Patreon credits', and other stories... (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone - and thanks once again for sticking with me for all this time - I really don't deserve ya.
I've been getting a few Patreon DM's about a few names not popping up in credits for videos, and I wanted to first of all apologise deeply, but also mention that there IS a legit reason for this error - and it also applies to every other award tier, like being able to see ad-free early videos, vote on games to stream next and access the Discord server.
Because my page has gone through a fair few changes over the last few years with price reductions to tiers and what they offer, if you have been a patron of mine from BEFORE all of the most recent tier/price changes happened, YOU HAVE BEEN REMOVED FROM THAT REWARD AND NEED TO REAPPLY.
It's not the end of the world at all - but not only does this mean you end up missing posts because Patreon doesn't reset you back to the reward tier you originally signed up for - but also, when it comes to the credits situation, the Excel graph I recieve of ALL my individual patron information from actually doesn't label the reward-less accounts from drop down menus properly - and lumps you in with every other person who isn't paying for any rewards at all, AND doesn't sort you from highest donations to lowest, meaning I have to scour through 700+ names for every relevant month that was worked on for the finished video. Not only time-consuming, but also does mean that I may make a mistake here or there (and means you don't get the ad-free videos and stream votes anyway). For that I can only apologise - and I'm not for a second saying that I'm stopping trying to thank the reward-less accounts (I'm not an asshole, don't worry!) but please do forgive me if I do miss a name every so often - it's just a wall of data I have to search through, unless you cancel your tier and start your Patreon pledge again.
Sorry for the heavy information dump - I hope this makes sense. I'm sorry again for missing out a couple of names, and I can only try my absolute hardest in the future to spot them hidden on the Excel graphs!
