Salt Plains Observatory [33x46] (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

Welcome to the Salt Plains Observatory! We worked on this map in collaboration with our friends at Borough Bound for their final 12th release of Elseridge Academy, the Magic School at the End of the World!

This fort sits around a dozen miles from Elseridge. Created by a cabal of extradimensional entities, it's enchanted so that only those who already know it is there will see it. Young Warlocks can learn forbidden magicks here from their chosen masters without being watched by the prying eyes of moralising Elseridge Professors.

You can obviously use the Salt Plains Observatory however you like within your stories, this is just the original idea to fit within the world of Elseridge Academy. It could be the lair of a desert monarch, a well fortified stately home controlled by a powerful spellcaster, or perhaps this is where the Council of Elders meet to discuss important wordly matters, using their collective wisdom to try and guide the paths of generations yet to come.

However you choose to use it, we hope you enjoy the new map!

P.S. If you've never heard of Salt Plains (or Salt Pans/Flats) before, it's quite an interesting phenomenom! They occur exclusively in climates where the rate of water evaporation is faster than the rate of precipitation. The water evaporates on the surface of the ground, leaving behind a layer of minerals. They end up leaving a shining brilliant white pattern across huge expanses of desert!

Hi! From some reason I can't update my payment method and it looks like it's patreon's fault, and I can't do much about it. I really love your maps and scenes, but do you have any other place where I can purchase them, at least case by case basis if not constant supporter? I'm really bummed out of not being able to continue being a supporter it looks like.

Hi Sofia, A few people have had this issue in recent months! Apparently deleting that payment method completely from your account and resubscribing should fix the issue for you! I hope that helps!

The Destruction variation looks very similar to the Massacre variation, was that intentional?

I think it's an error, since the downloaded files the Massacre is as you'd expect bloody and vastly different from destruction one

Yeah, that tier no longer exists, so I don't know how to fix that. Patreon doesn't give us the ability to apply discounts on a case-by-case basis annoyingly. In the next few months we'll be starting a subscription platform on our website as an alternative to Patreon. And you can buy the maps the individually from our website too. :)

Sorry I’m new to Patreon, I have the 5$ subscription for your maps and for your scenes to 10 bucks in total. However patreon charged me 22 dollars is it because you added new content? And if so wouldn’t me being subscriber grant me access to all new content like this beautiful observatory? “Edited” Never mind, I just had forgotten to set up a monthly limit for the maps subscription smh.
