Hey as an extra benefit for our $10 and $20 patrons we're asking you all to suggest a monster for our upcoming Boss Map!

We just posted our Bullywug Queen swamp. Which means so far we've made a map for: Ogre, Giant Spider, Red Dragon, Mindflayer, Beholder and Bullywug.

The winner of the last poll was the Lich. That'll be coming after the Shadow Fortress map is released. So if you have any suggestions for MONSTERS you'd like us to cover, drop them in the comments below.

Rules: Nothing explicitly owned by another company! We don't want to be sued for IP infringement here. That includes WotC, but a lot of the generic monsters are fine!

Anything from history, folklore or mythology is perfect. Chinese dragons, Sphinx, Medusa, Nisse, Treants, etc.

We'll take the suggestions and make a poll out of them!

Eu fiz uma vez um navio mimico, acho essa pegada muito interessante nas campanhas, fico pensando em um mapa de uma mansão ou uma taverna mimico.

Ultisol

Elemental bosses! Like huge Air elemental arenas, smotheringly deep water elemental arenas, or rocky tombs for earth elemental bosses!

Having an Hesher-like map, where reality bend on itslef would be cool as heck. I know that's asking a lot, it is much more complicated to make one than a palace or a forest, but i would be unforgettable !

A hag coven’s hideout would be rad. Something in an Underdark-ish area would also be sweet, perhaps a little less specific to be used for lots of different Monsters? Along the lines of perhaps a demon’s lair

Czepeku

We actually want to make specific things so an underdark hag lair would be perfect.

A cthulu like monster map... like a giant boss battle in the Mournland (eberron setting) with a cthulu size abberration.

Rune Christensen

A massive kobold cave system with a young ish dragon being their ruler. Plenty of traps and other stuff that showcase the intelligence of kobolds. Alternatively a troll cave or frost giant fortress (Viking style hall).

Cheese

maybe something Greek-ish? Was thinking of the new MTG-linked WOTC stuff and something for like a minotaur or gorgon would be cool :D

J.R. Severn

A Pirate Lord that makes use of a Pirate Ship from your Airship maps. His prosthesis could be mechanical. Maybe a Gatling gun arm or something. He/She could fight with gun powder based weapons, and could maybe be cursed. Upon death he/she transforms into some kind of demon. Maybe instead of gunpowder based weapons, the Pirate Lord powers his weapons with other creatures that deal elemental damage. My adventurers recently stole an airship. Having a enemy in the skies would be a good challenge for them.

Ancient Magical Constructs gone rogue

Moosh

Love this idea

Moosh

Also a cool idea, but still I have to say the kobold cave system is still my favourite

Czepeku

Did you see the Kobold/Dragon one we made already?

Czepeku

We already covered a Minotaur but would happily do something Gorgon based!

Rune Christensen

Sorry not yet. I joined this week and still going through what you have made. It wasn't mentioned on the list above so I suggested it. Thanks for the tip I will look it up.

Czepeku

Some of these suggestions are awesome, please keep them up. Remember though, specifically looking for MONSTERS to cover. :)

Bryggerhuset

Imagine a Kobold Titan or Giant

Seth Burke

I can imagine an Artificer's Golem underground workshop.

I feel like there are enough dark boss maps for my own taste. Why not try something colourful like a Nemean Lion or a giant Jungle Gorilla? I could see a giant Gorilla map specially being something fun and colourful to play around. What do you guys think? It wouldn't have to be in the jungle at all. The map could be a circus with a torn open cage and a bunch of other animals still in cages or something. Or what about an Angelic Bossfight? A Solar standing at the center of a temple full of light and mosaics.

Seconded. I literally came here to check whether this has already been mentioned. Maybe the construct has become part of the map?

Zerato

How about a goblin lair? I don't think it's been done yet and it's one of the most iconic monster of D&D. It can be easily added to most campaigns too. Also a crazy room with a nilboG in it would be great

Thibaut Xelloss

Medusa lair with a lot of statue everywhere ^^

Random Wookie

Kobold! with lots of traps and changes between maps! something epic for low levels

R Crilly

Fourth for magic robots.

BolognaJabroni

I'm thinking something desert-themed. A Mummy Lord's tomb or something would be very cool.

Czepeku

There's going to be a big TSH collaboration based around a Mimic coming soon. ;)

Czepeku

Next map we're working on is 'Eldritch Church' so that might fit the Cthulhu theme well. :)

Czepeku

Well, we'll be making maps from these suggestions. :) Not sure if i can make a different airship but if you're looking for a pirate token/mini you could check out the collaborations i did with PaperForge, there's a free air pirate warforged in there that might fit!

HannibalRektor

What about those giant black scorpions from clash of the titans? Not necessarily those specifically but some kind of large insectoid creature?
