The first Patreon Q&A of the year! Feel free to ask me anything regarding baseball, Youtube, or anything else.

Ethan

Do you think the moves that the Padres made are enough to keep up with the Dodgers in the NL West? If not, how much more do they need to do to win the division?

SayWhatWhat

Are you still playing OOTP? Any interesting stuff happen this year if you did?

navman32

With all the HOF discussion going on, I was wondering what would be your all time team of players that have currently been left out of Cooperstown?

Paul

I’m a new patron and haven’t caught up on previous Q&A videos, so apologies if this has already been asked. What do you think of the “the best reliever is still a failed starter” argument that some put against relievers receiving recognition or getting into the HOF? I just think it’s weird that some will say that about relievers but you never hear that “all corner outfielders are failed centerfielders”, for example.

James Nagengast

Say you became Perry Minasian (aka Scary Perry) and would only become Bailey again after two transactions (trade, fa signing). What two moves you would make to improve the Angels?

Bob Majzler

I enjoyed your breakdown of the HoF last time around. I agree that "Rockin" Rolen should be in. My question is how is it possible that Kenny Lofton didn't make it past the first year of voting? I've always thought that was a huge snub. For me, he should be in the Hall, especially since he has a higher WAR than ex-Spiders teammate Jim Thome, who is in. What are your thoughts on Lofton?

Andy Johnston

What mid-season trade was the most the most exciting / most impactful?

Delos Chen

When do you expect all the big free agents (Bauer, LeMahieu, Springer, Realmuto, Ozuna) to sign and who do you think they will sign with?

Angel Marquez

why or why not will the dodgers repeat?

Darren Maybee

Are you a fan of the universal DH? Also who do you think are the top three best GM’s and managers? Thanks for your videos from a newly subscribed Patreon.

Jared Natsis

What's your first date with Zendaya going to be?

NowIOnlyWantATriumph

if you had the unilateral power to realign MLB however you wanted, how would you do it?

Harper-Leighton Scott

On your video about the hof ballot you talked about the steroid users (Bonds and Clemens). I personally couldn't vote for them but how do I reconcile my love for A-Rod and his steroid usage and his hof candidacy? Also, if Mark Burehrle hof canndiacy gets off the ground what does that mean for other guys like Jon Lester?

Harper-Leighton Scott

Maybe the days of relivers winning cy young are over. But say it can happen again what type of numbers would he need to put up and what guys you think can do it?

Harper-Leighton Scott

Ok last question can you make the case for Rickey Henderson for being the best LF of all time?

Josh Getto

Hello, new Patreon supporter here. First off, I just want to say I really enjoy your content. As someone who does a lot of research on Baseball history, what would you say is the era of baseball you find the most interesting?

Mitchell Israel

When do you expect the 2021 MLB season to start, and how many games will be played? It seems like MLB execs are expecting a delay but the players really want 162 games

Bo Brown

Any nonbaseball ideas for the second channel?

ajnrules

I know you watch other sports, but do you ever watch hockey? I’ve come to enjoy it as a sport during most normal baseball offseasons. And with player and puck tracking on the horizon the sport could be due for an analytical revolution

Donovan Schultz

What kind of season are you expecting from Corbin Burnes in 2021? His 2019 season was a disaster but was a Cy Young candidate in 2020. What are reasonable expectations for Burnes moving forward? (keep up the great work!)

Big Al

I've been meaning to jump into these Q&A's for a few months now, so I'm going to ask all of my questions at once. 1. Is Shelby Miller even fixable anymore? 2. Do you think that Verlander will go the Smoltz route and fight age by becoming a closer? 3. Who are some non-obvious bounceback (Yelich) and regression (Solano) candidates for 2021? 4. Is Acuña really a walker now. 5. Was Tim Locastro's solid 2020 good enough to give him a starting job in Arizona? 6. What individual player was screwed over the most by the shortened season?

Taylor Mazzocchi

Hey Foolish, it's me again. Do you think the MLB should ever officially retire another number league-wide? People have obviously talked about Clemente's 21 being retired for a while, but what are your thoughts? If not, what do you think a player would need to do to in order to have a number retired league-wide again?
