There are minimal differences between the Beta and the EA versions, just a few typos fixed. So if you have it, you don't really have to bother.

You can use the PC patch to upgrade any version beginning with 0.5.0r1 to version 0.5.3r1 , just make sure to get the right flavour (hi-res/compressed).To use the patch, place the .exe file into the game’s root folder and launch it.
