Nice photo of Alice - but where's Jodie?? 😉 Seriously, it's amazing how you can change - and not just your looks. Maybe I shouldn't admit, but when I found your channel and saw the first few videos, still having no idea what I was getting into - I initially thought there's a Jodie and a Marie - and friends... 🤣 Like a collab channel or so... 🤷‍♂🤣🤣 I was actually flipping back and forth between the first 2 or 3 videos to check, if that could indeed be the same ASMRtist after all. To my defence: I finally *did* figure it out then... 🤣🤣🤣

Yes, totally serious - but it was only a brief moment of uncertainty of course. Not like it took me days... 🤣 I don't think this has anything to do with your subs though. I'm sure there's a very obvious reason why ASMRtists tend to get a considerable amount of views from people who don't sub. I was like that. I'm being totally honest now: I'm watching ASMR for about two years, but wasn't subbing to anyone for months. I just "bookmarked" channels I liked. Before this, my YT suggestions were socially totally accepted: full of cars, planes and tech stuff. Maye the occasional cat video... 😀 Perfectly fine to show to anyone. Once I subbed the first ASMR channel, well, my YT changed quite a bit... If I now wanted to show a YT video to a friend or colleague ("Have you seen this..."), once the clip is over, there's a good chance YT will be "helpful" and offer some ASMR videos to watch next. Maybe "ear nomming" and "mouth sounds"... 😳🙈🤣🤣 Sure, there's nothing really wrong about it and probably a lot of cooler guys than me would just laugh and shrug it off. But I'd rather not have this discussion with a colleague or certain friends etc. So, yes, YT-wise things get a bit more "complicated" once you start liking and subbing to ASMR channels. Am I the only guy who is so incredibly uncool that it took him months to make a first ASMR sub? I don't think so... 😉
