I don't really mean to be as blunt as this is going to sound but I have to say my initial reaction to this was quite litterally "Wtf".

Tim

Not thier best piece for sure

Chris

Uhhhh.......what?

Adam Keane

I had the same reaction. I think it's a balance issue. And I'm hoping the spear below is replaceable with a ranged weapon, or at least removable. The last issue I have with it is the curve of the ring. The rest of the TW line aesthetic is brutish and mostly angular, and this flowing curve doesn't fit to me. The model has potential, but I feel this was perhaps rushed, or there are more options planned and we're not seeing the entire concept.

Plasmastorm

Much the same, think part of it is that the guns are not symetrical either. One side is ejecting spent shells upwards and probably jamming itself in the process. The other side is ejecting downwards. Either way one guns spraying the other. But yeah, that bumper. Do they ram something with the spear then bounce off it like a dodgem at a fairground? Also what keeps the nose up?

Plasmastorm

Ok, so after a chat with Seb and him pointing out the patreon discord (I was only on the 40k makers) It's now obvious I have been a bit harsh on the criticism here. I stand by it but knowing now that there's a good oppertunity to get involved in the initial degins makes a world of difference.

Benjamin VerStraete

I enjoy this design after looking at it for awhile, at first was unsure. My opinion and how I interpreted this model is being a knight Hunter. Using the guns to blow through the front line of troop with speed on it's side to ram that spear into the knight dealing a massive blow. Then the TW would jump off and cause more damage to the knight. The "bumper" around the TW, I like to image that is some sort of shield generator, that helps deflect on coming fire so the TW has a chance to get close to a knight.

Richard Fortuna

I think it would be better without the hoop. It’d be kinda like strapping yourself to a rocket and taking off. Marines aren’t my bag either way, though. Looking forward to the Ruststalkers and IG releases!

Pierre Rohn

abhumans as in Ogre-like?^^

Eric Ballam

Do we have an updated ETA on the others sets?

Evilvac

Will a non-melee version of the Dark techno stalkers be uploaded as well?

themakerscult

Yes. The announcement was only made through discord because the ranged weapons are still in progress. They should be available in a few days

Evilvac

Fantastic! Printing a melee one today to see how they look. Love your guys work!

James White

Not to be that guy, but any update on when the abhumans are going to drop? They are all I need to finish my Feudal Guard Kill Team and cant wait!
