Sorry about the delay this month, we are happy to announce that part 2 models are now available to download and Enjoy!

How to Download

Go to the website, and use the "Patreon" button under the Sign-in prompt. You will then be requested to allow 'Comics Games and Things' website to access your patreon public information. This step is necessary to link your patreon account with the download platform. Click on "Allow".

Alternatively, if you do not wish to link your account you can create a new account on CG&T. You will need to verify your email address, but the new account will also work as long as it uses the same email address as your patreon account.

After that you should see November's downloads listed under your account.

In addition, we've gotten October and September uploaded as well for those of you who were patrons in those months.

If there's any trouble, or you don't see the downloads, please let us know by PM and If we can't figure it out with our site expert, we will get a google drive link for you.

If everything goes well, we should have the entire backlog added to the site over the course of a few months, so users can select and download models at their own leisure. That means you won't have to worry about missed downloads !

Note: This is our first large scale test of this platform, so please be patient and forgiving if there are some technical issues. We will do our best to make this work.

Note2:  For now,  It only works on computer. Don't try to log with phone or tablet.

Note 3:  If you're having trouble, try disabling any pop up blockers for the site. that might fix it.

Note 4:  If the new parts of the pack are showing up as unpurchased, try logging out and back in. We're hearing from some users that the log in may need to be refreshed.

Having a similar issue. My computer isn't slowing down (tho that's hard to tell cause it's slow as heck as it is) but the download speed is atrocious.

Hello. It sounds like this is a permissions issue. I'll need to check to be sure, but while I'm doing that, did you use the same email address to sign up to GH&T as patreon? A different email is the most common reason for this problem to arise. Also make sure that you have received the verification email (It may have ended up in your spam folder) (dev.comicsgamesandthings.com/accounts/email) - G

Don't worry, downloads linked with your account are available at all time, even after the end of the month, and even if you unsuscribe from our patreon. We will inspect your problem ASAP to see why you face a problem.

im logged in to the new program but it won't actually let me download anything. using safari as a browser, does that make a difference?

That depends. Are you on a tablet or a mobile device? We don't yet have full mobile support, so it'd be best to try with a PC. If not it might be a popup blocker issue. Be sure to disable any before you begin. When you say it won't let you download anything, can you see the downloads themselves? Are you able to click the button and nothing happens or are the files just not showing up? -G

It's nice having an organized place for downloads, especially where we can download what we might have missed from previous months/downloading the whole month at once, but the website is pretty bad with the time required. Took me almost 2 hours to get the whole of october to finish.

Yes, October needs some work. We've found a couple tricks and fixes to greatly speed up November today, but we haven't had time to apply those to previous months yet. -G

Chrome, I’ve only tried all the November files so far, and both. Most commonly it will be mid download and freeze at some percent. Reload the page, try again, wait forever, find it froze again.

Authorization through Patreon does not work, so I registered an account with the same mail, but the models were also unavailable to me. The blocker is disabled, the input output did not solve the problem

Hmmm. Is it just the abhumans or are all the files acting slow? There are a couple things I can try on my side either way. This month we focused on compatibility with a large number of browsers. Next month should be faster as we're focused on some speed ups.

I am having trouble with cg&t access. I signed into my account on both chrome and edge all of the November release is showing as not purchased. I'm not sure if its because I just joined the patreon or if i'm doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Hello. It's very likely that it's just that you just joined. We need to wait for patreon to send CG&T the updated list of users, which happens automatically every few hours. (We're working on getting a faster fix). Give it a little time, and if you still can't access your downloads please let me know and I'll see what's going on. Cheers

I've gotten it to download a couple now, I have had to refresh the page and restart the downloads multiple times due to errors, its just taking a much longer time than I would like to fiddle with it.

I cannot download November as a whole, the download stalls constantly. Google Drive was a far better option, at least from a download and ease of access perspective. EDIT: I do appreciate you guys trying to make a database available to us so we can access our files easier though- this website is just seeming a tad janky right now.

I am using windows 10, It is downloading now, just incredibly slow comparatively. EDIT: Instead of one convenient download, everything is now piecemeal and inconsistent. Some things download and others do not. Its a whole lot of micromanaging when before there was none-

Not getting errors per say, simply having to click “download all” continuously to no avail. The option doesn’t really work, it only downloads somethings and not others. You have to go and individually download each set and organize them together. And it does so much slower than google unfortunately.

Yeah this system doesn't work at all for me. When I try and download anything, either download all or individually, it just says "Downloading 100%" and nothing happens after that, and in the case of Otto.zip I download 296 million % lol ---edit, was a browser issue, working good now.

Yeah its all working now. I normally use firefox for browsing and that was where I was having issues. Switching to Opera solved it. I cant say for certain what was causing it but I would guess it was most likely a firefox plugin/extension.

Hey guys, couple of bug notes that are hopefully helpful for future months: * When downloading the November 2020 Download Pack, each set of STLs downloads and opens individually. Is it possible that in the future we'll have the option to get one ZIP of the whole month? * When I went to the site via the Nov-only direct link, there was no prompt to log in. As a result, when I clicked the month's download option, it instantly said it was finished and nothing downloaded. As soon as I created an account and logged in, this was fixed. Might be useful to have a prompt that you're not logged in if a download doesn't happen? * Images for most of the site (other than this month) don't seem to be displaying. I'm not even getting the empty image field with an X showing that it failed to load. ONLY your files are showing up with images. I know how hard the process of rolling out a new platform is, so I just want to say keep up the good work! Once I got to the point of downloading, each individual file is much nicer, with the status updates and clean ability to download just one item more easily. Just some bugs to work out and it'll be great! System Info: Windows 10 x64, Firefox, adblocks disabled.

Thank you! The login idea is excellent, and we're implementing that now. I'm not sure what's going on with the images, so I'll have to look into that a bit. As to the single zips. We had a lot of trouble with file corruption in large downloads during initial testing. I believe we're on our way to fixing it, but for now separate folders are the best workaround. next month we're rolling out some updated to the folder system, that I hope will go a long way to fixing this.

I'll be honest, I can't tell for SURE that there are missing images, but for instance when I go to the home page of the site, I only see text about the sites latest developments. It seems like there should be pictures to go with the text, but I'm not certain that this is the case. This also happened when I went to other makers' sections on the page, but again I am not certain if there are actually supposed to be pictures, or if I'm just expecting them.

so unable to download any of the link months. just goes to 100% and each individual model is 404d. any chance you could just send me a link to the files directly as clearly there is a problem with the system as i use Chrome and disabled add blocker. I also tried edge and downloaded Firefox and it does the same thing. could it be because i just registered?

Most likely. The system works by looking at patreon's list of payments for each account. The patreon server sends our server the new list every few hours. Give it a little bit and if you still don't see anything working shoot me a PM please and I'll get you a link.

Also make sure you verified your email address if you created a new account instead of linking your patreon one.
