DOUBLE EAGLE, is one of the best 40k novels and Dan Abnetts best work imo. By The Golden Throne this concept shouldn't be on the side we need a few releases about Pilots, Aircrew, Flight Line, Maintainers, and of course several different craft designs Air and Void for them. Imperial Dropships also have never gotten any proper treatments official or community built.

Awesome! Thank you guys. Ya know, some wrecks would be pretty slick, like for terrain. Especially for a scenario with that downed pilot and his wrecked transport/fighter/bomber. Or even wrecked tanks? Just throwing that out there. :)

The models look great - I just wish aircraft utility hadn't been nerfed so much in 9th ed WH when board control and objective holding wins the day, but aircraft can't hold objectives.

Anyone remember Battle for Macragge? It was the 4th edition starter box and came with an Imperial Pilot that you used in scenarios - usually trying to keep him from getting killed since he was carrying geneseed.

I and I'm sure others here just play the previous editions, meaning I kick 9th out the window while I have fun on my Tabletop. None of these files can be printed and fielded in official GW events so what does it matter if every release is 9th Edition Friendly.

this is just a one off model, if you are after sitting poses for pilots or tank crew, ranges like the Valour korps will get those in time in a more ww1 aesthetic

Thanks alot for that anouncement. Really looking forward to see some VK Tank Crews, Sitting Infantry etc. BTW, in general some figures in relaxed non combat poses without drawn weapons would be greatly appreciated!
