These look great! Hey, any chance we can get some painting tutorial or info on how these vehicles are always painted up? They look really great and are super consistent, so there must be some solid techniques driving their painting process.

themakerscult

Hello. Garin here. My normal painting process is black basecoat > Metalic silver base coat > first layer (all colors) > Black wash > Second layer (all colors) > Drybrush > Rust wash > Highlights and details. For my main colors I use Vallejo Andrea Blue over Armypainter's Shining silver. My reds, browns and greys are fairly inconsistent as I tend to use whatever's on hand. There's not really anything special going on technique wise. Painting the whole model silver first lets you bake in paint chips and wear and tear as you go.

Lee Perry

When you're painting the blue on the vehicles, are you painting all the way to the edge of the panels, or stopping short to help define the edge?

themakerscult

Stopping short most of the time. As well as on any areas in the center that would receive a lot of wear. During the drybrush I also go over the edges lightly with silver to highlight the very tip of the edge.

Older Valour Korps sets will be getting addition part updates during May (notably the Sergeant models) ???!!! Are we getting the french themed helmets to all of them now ?

themakerscult

It has been requested to added missing weapon options to the sergeant models to make them all fully loaded. The french helmets will be a reward when we reach the 3000 milestone.

How about Brodie Helmets? we kinda already have a full head helmet the Brodie would be more ...unique?

Rob

Second the brodie!

Of course right when I consider mocking up a new Grimdark melee squad for HDF Brexitt comes in clutch with EXACTLY the models I need. Super pumped for May now!
