My vote would be for Henry VIII or Churchill!

Hunter Tanner

Will he have an option to wear the hat with a gas mask? I really like this btw. As far as historical characters I think it'd be cool to add them in, though I don't think I'd like an entire squad to be themed around it. Maybe a small retinue/bodyguards but I think it'd be better to limit the amount of releases tied to historical themes, just to make the characters more unique and help them stand out

i can put a gas mask plus hat combo together too. What i meant was 40k era characters inspired by fictional and historical figures. Not purely historical. These would just be filler models and if we have spare days in the month to utilise and not main releases :)

Anthony Gascoigne

Very nice, captures the original painting really well. It would be nice if there was an option for the Valour Korps version to have a suitable helmet or hat somewhere - his head or his knee or the floor …

Dale van Sylvan

How about a 40k style Alexander the Great complete with Corinthian helmet, shield and plasma gun?

Hunter Tanner

I know you meant 40k characters inspired by fiction/history, I was just saying I like the idea but would prefer it limited to just characters or a retinue, just to help them be more unique. But if they're filler anyway then that's perfect! A fun twist to the typical notible characters you could do would be a priest/chaplain-esque character inspired by Shakespeare or Edgar Allan Poe, kind of fulfilling that bardic/morale boosting poetry/hymns for the troops

themakerscult

i add some alt hats/helmets to place on the floor or on knee

Would love to see a Sharpe and a Wellington to go with Napoleon

CupcakeKittenExplosion

Oh this is fun, there are so many great military historical figures you could Grimdark! A few I can think of at the moment; Artemisia, Boudicca, Lyudmila Pavlichenko and Lilya Litvak especially would seem perfect for the setting. Really looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Rory Terrill

Not historical.. but I think it would be a great challenge for the Mighty Lord Brexit... An 8 - 10 member Inquisitor and retinue.. you know it would be a fun project too bruv..

Dirty Dave

Would love to see a skull option for the hat, can't have a big hat without a skull in the far future. I like the idea of the wide range of characters, maybe we could get a top gun style pilot for hektor proxying? A home alone inspired rattling sniper? A valor corps with some bane inspired bull ogres? The possibilities are endless and I look forward to seeing more!

Michael Galosi

Is there going to be a historical line now? WOuld love to run Silver bayonet with your minis.

Sikander

Sadly, he would have worn either a metal Smurf hat (Phrygian) or a kettle helmet (Boeotian.)

Robert Derry

If you like Inquisitor models Red Pilgrim Patreon has a ton and you get access to all old models when you join.

Robert Derry

Would love to see an Alexander the Great / Lord Solar Macharius mashup.

Pat Pe

I think a Valour Korps Bismark would be cool!

Denis Dufour

General Patton would be an option. Wouldn't mind a few Komissars also

Hopeless

washington crossing the delaware..or the Warp.

Dale van Sylvan

What about an Antony and Cleopatra twin set? You’ve really opened a Pandora’s box with this 🤣

morgan light

Assuming that miniature is about 25mm? But seriously, alt versions of historical figures would be cool...multi time period versions of Genghis Khan, Attila the Hun, Caesar, Vlad the Impaler, Hannibal - and even sci-fi takes on Napoleonic or Eastern European 17th century or Oriental hordes.

D Schmidt

Any chance of some multi-shell in the mix? I'd really like to do some head and hand swaps.

Rory Terrill

Not as much as calling out a challenge to Will. Though my closer look at Zerg surprised me.. great start tho.

Marcel G

A 40k Version of General Zhukov would be neat

Benne422

Wish he was standing... but great mini!

FuriousE

Cool! What about Boudica?

Asteroids Fred

I'm not much for the historic mini's as they don't match my interests. But as long as they can crossover to SyFi, I'm okay with it.

Moppelthor

What about Friedrich II. and Macharius ?

Dale van Sylvan

Actually he’s usually pictured without a helmet in battle. But hey, if we’re allowing a plasma gun for him in a 40k version then I’m sure a Corinthian helmet would be ok.

House Hendoe

2 things, 1)We need a VK version with the Cap. 2)For a Fictional Character, I'm going with Richard Sharpe who was played by Sean Bean in the 15 year running Napleonic War fiction novels and mini series "Sharpe".

Penthoven

Monty Python and the Holy Grail crew for Feudal Guard along with the Knights who say NI! and Black Knight in various stages of the fight.

you missed on a big idea with this one, Napoleon is short 5'6 tall, you should have made him a Ratling. This unit contains 5 Ratlings. It may contain up to 5 additional Ratlings (Power Rating +2). Each model is armed with a sniper rifle. is in current rules...
